The Dominican banana shake rebuilt as a post-workout powerhouse and a grab-and-go breakfast. Frozen guineo, natural almond butter, vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon blended thick and cold. 28g protein per serving. Done in 2 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas guineo, frozen - freeze overnight for best texture
  • 4 cups unsweetened almond milk or whole milk for higher calories and protein
  • 4 scoops vanilla whey or plant protein powder 80-100g protein total, 20-25g per scoop
  • 4 tablespoon natural almond butter no added sugar or oil
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups ice
  • Optional: 2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup if bananas are not fully ripe

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender in this order: almond milk first, then frozen bananas, protein powder, almond butter, cinnamon, vanilla, and ice last. Adding liquid first protects the blender blade and ensures even blending.
  • Blend on high 45 to 60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. If the blender struggles, add almond milk one tablespoon at a time until it moves freely.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness with honey if needed. Very ripe frozen bananas will need nothing extra.
  • Pour into tall glasses and dust the top of each glass with extra cinnamon. Serve immediately.
